Qu|r'an «ku RAHN, -RAN», noun.

the sacred book of the Muslims. It consists of revelations of Allah to the prophet Muhammad and is the standard by which Muslims regulate their lives. The book, written in Arabic after Muhammad's death, is divided into 114 chapters.
